Are you a member of a family with a child who has one or more ongoing health conditions? Tombolo can provide your family with free, no-judgemental support. Your family can join Tombolo at any time, and discontinue the partnership at any time.
If you are located in the Twin Cities metro area we can meet with each family to determine their needs and do our best to meet all of their needs. We work with your existing support networks (families, friends and colleagues, for example) and community organizations, such as other non-profits or government agencies, to help you meet your needs. We also recruit and train our own volunteers to fulfill the remainder of your needs. If you are not located in the Twin Cities area we help you mobilize support through on-line solutions.

Community Connections
Tombolo will act as a community bridge, connecting the families with high quality people and organizations in the Twin Cities community. We believe that collaborative partnerships with local schools, civic associations, non-profits and government agencies are critical for the well-being of families.
Family Bridges
We work with the family to identify family, friend, neighbors, and colleagues that could be a potential source of support, advocacy, and caring. Together we develop a plan for mobilizing this network using in-person and web-based strategies. The strategy is flexible and dynamic, changing to meet the changing needs of the families.

Circle of Care
Tombolo will match families with a volunteer that can give emotional and practical help. Volunteers have a wide variety of skills including: child care experience, health care experience, social networking experience, budgeting and finances, etc. and commit to helping a family for two or more hours per week.
We can help with, but are not limited to:

- Emotional support

- Grocery Shopping
- House Cleaning
