The Global Genes Project strives to build unity around rare disease research, funding, advocacy and information by creating a platform for collaboration, while building awareness, educating and engaging support from the general public. Global Genes is applying for a grant through the Pepsi Refresh Challenge and would like to highlight a different rare kid for each day by including a first name/last initial only, age, photo and link to personal blog/foundation blog.
So if you or anyone you know would be interested in participating, let me know! We would like to recruit 30 participants by Friday. If you have a blog about your family or your child’s rare disease and would like more readers, this is an opportunity for some great free publicity.
